What time does the Scottish Garden Festival open and close?

Scottish Garden Festival starts at 10am and finishes at 6pm on each day from Friday 23rd of May until Sunday 25th of May 2025.

How do I purchase tickets for the Scottish Garden Festival?
What is the ticket price for the Scottish Garden Festival?

Standard Tickets (Excluding Booking Fee)

Adult – £25.00
Senior Citizens – £20.00
15 – 18 years of age – £12
Children 14 years and under (accompanied by an adult) – Free of charge

Are tickets available at the gate?

Some tickets will be available at the gate, but we cannot guarantee that tickets will be available on popular days and therefore we recommend booking in advance.

Can I use my ticket on any day?

Tickets are valid for one day only – please ensure you select the correct date when purchasing as tickets are not transferable.

Can I exchange or refund my ticket if I can no longer attend?

In line with our ticket selling partners’ policy, we cannot offer an exchange or refund on tickets.

Is parking free of charge?

Yes, on-site car parking is free of charge. The security staff will direct you to a parking space.

Can I bring my dog?

No dogs are permitted except for Guide/Assistance Dogs. Scottish Garden Festival does not permit patrons to leave animals in vehicles in our car parks due to the dangers of heat exhaustion.

What options are there available when booking for people with disabilities?

Please purchase an adult tickets as normal, and a carer can accompany you for free.

Is there a map available of the Scottish Garden Festival grounds?

Yes, you will soon be able to view and download our event map for 2025.

What provisions are in place for disabled access?
Is the event suitable for children?

Yes, children 14 and under can visit Scottish Garden Festival for free and there is plenty of activities to enjoy over the course of the weekend.

Are there baby changing and feeding facilities available?

Yes – they are located in the Accessible toilets in the main building of Hamilton Park Racecourse.

Can I leave and re-enter the event during the day?

If you need to leave the event at some stage and intend on returning the same day, please ask the gate stewards to stamp your hand on departure. Without this stamp you may not regain access to the event.

What if I become unwell or have a minor accident at the Scottish Garden Festival?

We have a First Aid Centre at the Scottish Garden Festival and this will be marked on our grounds map.

Can I camp out at the event?

No camping permitted at Hamilton Park Racecourse. There are several hotels nearby for those wishing to organise accommodation.

What onsite services are available at Scottish Garden Festival?

Wi-Fi: There are Wi-Fi Hotspots located across the showgrounds.

We run a “wheelbarrow taxi service” to help people get their purchased plants back to their car, if parked in our designated car parks.

Is there an ATM at Scottish Garden Festival?

Yes, there is an ATM in the main building of Hamilton Park Racecourse.

What are your Terms & Conditions?
  • The Terms and Conditions upon which a ticket is issued are set out below. The acceptance of this ticket shall constitute acceptance by the ticket holder of these Terms and Conditions. A breach of these Terms and Conditions shall render the ticket void and all rights conferred or evidenced by it shall be nullified.
  • Please be aware that all tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Tickets booked for a specific date cannot be exchanged, transferred or refunded, unless otherwise stated.
  • Pre-booked online tickets for each show day will be available to purchase up until 11.30pm the night before, after which tickets will only be available to purchase at full price on the gate. Please note that the eTickets must be printed out at home or presented at the gate on a smartphone/tablet.
  • Tickets are only valid for the day (or days) and the event actually printed on it.
  • Should the event be abandoned or postponed (including inclement weather conditions), no entitlements to refund shall arise even if the event is subsequently rescheduled. Tickets will be valid for the later date unless otherwise advised by The Event Organisers.
  • For those requiring the additional assistance of a carer to visit the event, a complimentary carer ticket is available online OR by phoning the Event Office on 0141 319 4342. Please note that one example of the following supporting documentation will be required on entry to the show to validate the carer ticket: Personal Independence Payments (PIP’s), Severe Disablement Allowance, Attendance Allowance, War Pensioners’ Mobility Allowance or War or Service Disablement Pension, Blind or partially sighted registration certificate (BD8 or CVI Certificate), or confirmation from Social Services or GP that the person has long term disability (including learning) and requires a full time carer. If this documentation is not provided at point of entry to the event, a full priced ticket must be purchased.
  • The sale of concession tickets is strictly for ticket holders who meet the criteria. Holders of a concession ticket must meet the criteria when entering the event. Proof of meeting the criteria may be requested on entry to the event (Driving Licence / Bus Pass / Council Tax Statement / National ID Card / Student Card).
  • Child tickets: All Children under the ages of 14 years must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that our gate staff may ask for proof of your child’s age on entry to the show.
  • Dogs are NOT permitted at The Garden Festival. Assistance dogs are welcome.
  • Ticket Holders are permitted to exit and re-enter the event on condition they have acquired a date stamp at the exit / re-entry point or in the event of an emergency. Patrons must inform a steward in order to ensure controlled and secure egress and access.
  • Online transactions. We accept all major credit/debit cards, except American Express, which are processed securely by our external provider.
  • The Shows Management reserve the right at its sole discretion, to refuse admission to the ticket holder to the event or any part of the event, to remove the ticket holder from the event.
  • Entry into the event will be authorised on an event day only upon the presentation of a valid ticket by each ticket holder seeking to gain entrance.
  • If the ticket holder is refused admission or removed, no money shall be refunded.
  • Onrank Events Ltd shall have no liability for loss injury or damage to the ticket holder, or his/her property while in the events or any part thereof on entering or leaving the events.
  • Any photograph, image, film or recording taken may not be reproduced for any commercial purpose, whatsoever, whether for money or otherwise unless agreed with the Garden Festival Organisers.
  • Purchase of a ticket constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions and regulations. Breach of these regulations and/or terms and conditions shall render the ticket void.
